Supply independent current source
WebPower Sources Current Source The ideal current source is a device producing a current i ( t) that is independent of the voltage across the source terminals. This means that the source current remains i ( t) regardless of what is connected across the source terminals. Webthe current source will source current to the load to ground which allows support for different kind of applications. Current sources can be used to charge batteries, LED driving, temperature sensor biasing, and multimeters. Current sources have the benefit of having the load referenced connected directly to an independent ground.

WebWith four independent sources in your circuit (although the two voltage sources can be trivially reduced to one), KVL by itself is not an adequate tool for the job. You also need to apply the superposition principle. – Dave Tweed Jan 18, 2014 at 15:23 Add a comment 1 Answer Sorted by: 1 A current source is an electronic circuit that delivers or absorbs an electric current which is independent of the voltage across it. A current source is the dual of a voltage source. The term current sink is sometimes used for sources fed from a negative voltage supply. Figure 1 shows the schematic symbol for an ideal current source driving a resistive load. Ther…
WebIdeal Independent Voltage Sources. An independent voltage source maintains a specified voltage across its terminals. The symbol used to indicate a voltage source delivering a voltage V s (t) is shown in Fig. 1. As indicated in Fig. 1, the voltage supplied by the source can be time varying or constant (a constant voltage is a special case of a ...
