In order to pick up a dinosaur, you will need to approach it from behind and use either your bola or net on the creature. After the creature has been hit with the bola or net, it will be stunned and unable to move for a short period of time. If the Baryonyx had its drag weight increased, it likely can't be picked up by the Argent for that reason. This is exactly how the Megalo, Gallimimus, and Kapro were changed to prevent them from being picked up.

The smaller shorter Argy model have the carried dinos much closer and right on top of it's body making it easier for them to attack it while being carried.
