So I just tried for 2 hours to start a game with my wife we both made new characters and got them through the first mission (independently) and no matter how hard we tried we could not join a game with each other ( one on Xbox series x and one on PS4 pro) both on NAT type open with wired connections.

The current Mac version of the game is v1.8.5, which should be the same as the current Windows version, cross-play should be working at this point, without any additional adjustments by the end users. Currently, Mac and Linux players are unable to connect with Windows players.
